Social work licensing exam: Support is here

For over a year I have been supporting, sharing and assisting my fellow Social Workers with getting through this grueling process, of “Social Work State Licensure.” I know all too well how challenging this exam can be, and the toll it can take on one mentally and emotionally. The drive, passion, hard-work, dedication and fear that I watched my peers go through and what I personally experienced is unremarkable.

Because of this experience, I wanted to do something about it, and pay it forward. So I decided to assist with the exam prep studying process by hanging around in the Social Workers Study Groups, by sharing ways to process and read through exam questions, discussing clinical skills and techniques, and highlighting ones “Purpose.” I used the following platforms to help me reach individuals which included my daily Facebook posts, 1:1 inbox discussions, posting Youtube videos, and creating Facebook live.

For more specific support, I work individually with Social /workers and tutor them 1:1, as well as host educational Webinars. As I continued to “Pay it Forward”, I’ve learned that many other’s would want the information but maybe could not afford the time time for 1:1 service so put my words to action, and so came the book. In this short text, I share what has helped me and countless other social workers get through this exam with confidence, increased knowledge and technical skills, and on the path to success.

I hope this book will do the same for you! Get your copy today! (Available in Print as well:

It’s Not Ova

It ain’t ova,

until God says it’s ova.

Keep that in mind.

When the pressures of life comes tumbling down,

just remember your Father wears a crown.

He has given you all the strength you need,

just trust,

have faith,

and believe.

In this troubling times we are living in,

satan desires to attack the family.

We ar at war;

War for our children,

war for our marriages,

war for our homes;

at war for our families.

Don’t give up,

don’t give in.

The battle is not over.

When its all said and done,

You will Win.

Love you all!

Turning Back The Hands of Time

School-age and pre-teens social life is all about video games.

Preteens and Young adults social life is all about

Twitter, instagram, and snap chat.

Older adult social life is all about Facebook, texting and emails.

It’s amazing how each generation is drawn to something different but the concept is all the same. Social Media, the World Wide Web and electronic devices has pretty much taken over the world and our lives. Is it even possible to shut down, disconnect and unwired from this forum? What would your life and/or the life of your child be like If technology could not be a part of your life?

The 80s and early 90s how great would it be to live like that again… IJS❤️

Where my words of wisdom comes from

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. John 4:18

Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5-6

I chose these two passages of scripture as my Words of Wisdom because it is what has taught me and brought me through.

I start with the scripture on love because many of us fear love, and fear giving Love, in the way that God intended for us to do so. There is no fear in loving. When your fear love your mind is in constant torment. Perfect love cast out fear. Because I no longer fear Love, I am able to love others openly (particularly my husband), and fully with no fear of rejection – simply because my love is without condition.

I chose the second scripture on trusting God because it’s quite simple for me….if I trust God in all I do He will lead me in the way I should go. He will not fail me nor forsake me. I may not always agree with what the spirit of God is telling me to do, but if I trust Him and Just Do what He commands me to do, I know all things will work out for my Good. God has proven Himself to me time and time again. The Bible clearly states that “All things work together for the good of them that loves God and is call according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).”

I have received a lot of words of wisdom from the young and the old, both male and female, pastors, ministers, and lay people, but non that holds more truer, or proven to be true for me, than the words written in my King James Bible.

I hope I’ve encouraged someone today. #IChoseMe❤️
