Take Care of Your Own Home First

We are often time quick to work, serve and do for others, believing that this outside service will grant us favor and have us looked upon as good willed.  While all that is good, necessary and may show character, it means nothing if your own home is sloppy.

As believers of Christ our first ministry is to serve in our own homes.  So many fail to take care of home first…. And for this reason, many homes are in disarray, children are wayward, and marriages/relationships are failing.  The bible is clear on the believer that fails to take care of his own home.  It states that he is WORSE than an unbeliever.

Charge [the people] thus, so that they may be without reproach and blameless. If anyone fails to provide for his relatives, and especially for those of his own family, he has disowned the faith [by failing to accompany it with fruits] and is worse than an unbeliever [who performs his obligation in these matters]. (1 Timothy 5:7-8 AMP)

Take care of home.  Love your family, provide for their needs, be kind one to another, tender hearted, forgiving one another, even as God, for Christ sake has forgiven you.

Do you want the world to be a better place?   Take care of your own home!  It’s a good day family; Live, Love, and Laugh today on purpose….
